Demak ini dikenal sebagai <strong>Kampung Duduk <\/strong>(baca nduduk\/ndodok) yang berkonotasi BAB sembarangan karena dulu sering dijumpai warga yg duduk\/jongkok di pinggiran drainase yang\u00a0 rimbun ditumbuhi semak-semak untuk buang air besar (BAB). Kini masyarakat di wilayah\u00a0 tersebut tengah menanggalkan predikat buruk nya dan bergerak menuju kampung\u00a0 seperti yang mereka impikan.<\/p>\n<p>Dengan program KOTAKU (Kota Tanpa Kumuh) melalui kegiatan penanganan kawasan permukiman kumuh di Desa\u00a0 KALIKONDANG Kabupaten DEMAK, masyarakat dukuh Duduk berhasil mewujudkan kampung impiannya yang bersih, tertata, indah serta asri.<\/p>\n<p>Bantuan Dana Investasi (BDI) tahun 2018 : Rp 1.500.000.000,- yang bersumber dari APBN, APBD dan Swadaya Masyarakat. Masyarakat bergotong royong membangunan drainase, \u00a0jalan baru (paving), penanganan resiko kebakaran dan pengadaan moda persampahan. Masyarakat didukung Dinas dan Pemerintah Desa juga akan menyediakan tong sampah, iuran pengelolaan kegiatan persampahan, penghijauan lingkungan dan memperindah lingkungan permukiman mereka.<\/p>\n<p>Kini masyarakat kampung Duduk bisa berbangga hati dengan semangat gotong royongnya untuk mewujudkan lingkungan yang bersih.
